While both places have their own advantages and disadvantages, the difference mostly rely on the couple deciding on which type of wedding to hold. Both types of wedding can allow the bride to wear great looking pearl bridal jewelry and a great looking gown.
Another difference that they may have is the control the bride can have during the time of wedding planning. While brides can have total control of their venue on local weddings, brides having a destination wedding will have a much difficult time controlling the venue or seeing the venue beforehand. They will mostly depend on their wedding planner both local and regional to plan and finalize their big day. The only control they will have is the bridal gown and pearl bridal jewelry that they are going to wear for their big day.
Although destination weddings are really fun and adventurous to have since you will be in a place far different from what you are used to. Most couples who like adventure and experiencing new things opt to have a destination wedding. For those brides who want to do every wedding plan themselves can go choose a local wedding. Wherever the couple chooses to decide their wedding, both are sure of the surprises they will find along the way.

Since destination weddings are totally different from your local weddings, planning will also be different. If you are going to have a destination wedding, you need to have someone from the region where you are going to have your wedding to organize it for you.
Although most brides want to control the wedding itself, sometimes even their groom’s groomsmen gifts, for destination weddings however, most brides would not be able to see their wedding location until they have arrived in the location. Because of this a wedding planner is essential.
Wedding planners for destination weddings mostly plan and finalize the wedding day. And because brides will be far from their location she may need a local planner and a regional planner to assist her with the planning. Having a wedding planner can also help the bride not to stress out since she will not be able to do anything until the wedding day comes. The only consolation that she may have is that she still has the control in picking her bridal gown and probably her groom’s groomsmen gifts along the way.

Since destination weddings are totally different from local ones, inviting guests are also different from the usual ways of inviting guests. Careful consideration to the people you want to take part in your wedding should also be considered.
Local weddings will just let you send your invitations six to eight weeks before your big day. Although save-the-date cards are also sent to them prior to the invitation, but it is more advisable for couples to send save-the-date card six to eight months before the wedding takes place if you are going to have a destination wedding. You should also include all the needed information about the place in their cards and also some information on your website.
You should also let some of your groomsmen to help you if your guests will need information and even direction to find the place. Just do not forget their groomsmen gifts so that you can always keep them happy.
Remember that having a wedding far from those many folks you are going to be with during your big day is something to take seriously. Most of them will spend a great deal of time and money just to be with you, so you need to be considerate and attentive when it comes to their needs.

If you have been invited to a destination wedding, your first thought is probably glee at getting an excuse to travel to an exotic locale, but the second thought might be a little bit of concern. Going to a destination wedding is certainly different from driving even a few hours to go to a wedding, and you will find that a little bit of forethought and information can make your role and your trip a lot easier.
You will also find that the more you do your research before you head out, the better. If they are having their destination wedding in the Virgin Islands, for example, what do you know about the climate or what is appropriate to wear there? The bride can always give you some ideas about what type of clothing and jewelry will fit the style of her wedding.
Also keep in mind that the earlier you make your preparations, the better. If you call as soon as you get the invitation, you are practically assured of a place in the hotel where the festivities are going on. This really beats leaving it until the last minute and having to scramble for accommodations!
When you are invited to a destination wedding, you will find that there are plenty of things to keep in mind, but just remember to have a good time and show the bride and groom how important their happiness is to you!

Wedding themes can be as simple as the use of a color or as dramatic as transporting your guests to an exotic land, place in history or even the land of make-believe. Simple is quite popular, so pink weddings, silver, gold and assorted pastels create a dramatic background for the couple and is an easy theme to follow.
The color selection sometimes centers on the season. The summer season is frequently about the bright colors of summer, including deep rich greens, bright yellows and sky blue. Spring of course is the color of the spring flowers in all their glorious pastels. Winter weddings normally center around two possible color combinations. The first is the drama of a black and white color scheme and the second, of course follows the holiday season with red and white or red, white, and green. Fall is the color of the leaves: soft yellows, rich burnt orange, and browns set a lovely stage for the nuptials.
Garden wedding are particularly popular today. Everyone loves the beauty of the garden setting since no designer can make anything as beautiful for decorations as Mother Nature already provided. Dramatic touches add to the garden wedding when you focus on one particular flower, your favorite flower, as the theme within a theme.
Popular weddings that fall under the category of a little more exotic include those that have a destination. Destination weddings are increasingly popular because it provides an opportunity for the bride and groom to rest after the wedding, since they’re already at their honeymoon location, and because it allows the family to spend one last week together to enjoy family time. Usually the weddings are smaller but the group that attends keeps the memories forever. After all, isn’t a memorable event what you want the most from your wedding?

While there is always a lot of information out there on dressing the bride and the bridesmaid at a destination wedding, you will find that you might be a little bit confused when it comes to dressing the groomsmen. Groomsmen have typically had it easier than their counterparts when it comes to what to wear, but mastering the mix of formal and casual that comes into play at a seaside or destination wedding can be a little bit tough. If you are in charge of the groomsmen’s attire, there are actually quite a few options available for you out there. Make sure that you consider your choices before you make a decision.
In the first place, though weddings at the seaside are often quite informal, you will find that there are some that are more traditional, and involve more formal attire. In this case, you will find that you still do not necessarily need to go the suit unless it has been specifically called for. Wearing wool at a seaside wedding can be a little bit hard to stomach, so what about linen? Linen is a gorgeous fabric that breathes well, and you will find that it is quite lovely to look at as well. Take some time to look into dark linen suits and what that can mean for the groomsmen.
Of course, if you are dealing with a wedding that is considerably less formal, you will find that there are a number of different options for you. If you are going to a place with a lot of history and culture, you might want to find out what the local men wear to weddings. This can result in a wonderfully simple and down to earth design no matter where you happen to be, and you can bet that you’ll be fairly comfortable. This is a great way to take in some of the local culture and to figure out what is going on around you at the same time as well.

The truth of the matter is that when you go on a destination wedding, you will find that there are often going to be flower choices that are made for you.
