Environment-Friendly Wedding

March 5th, 2010

Your wedding is no doubt the most important occasion of your life and it is just common to plan all the details as meticulous as possible even your  Swarovski crystal bridal jewelry is always in the consideration. But as you plan your wedding, it would also be better if you can plan the wedding without harming or wasting too much on the environment. There are a lot of environmental issues going on nowadays and involving your wedding in your own way can be a benefit to everyone.

Holding your wedding at a park can help you not to waste too much on decorations of cut flowers and dried petals for the reception. A reception at the park will let you use Mother Nature as your main source of decoration. You can rent a big canopy to keep everyone safe from the heat of the sun or just the unpredictable weather and at the same time will let your guests enjoy the night.

As much as possible avoid using plastic wares that you will dispose after. If you are going to use beer cans later, better not to. Just use kegs instead. Although beer cans can also be recycled after, but segregating after can also be tedious. Think of ways you can cut back on waste to help your wedding and the earth at the same time.
