Weddings and the Environment

February 28th, 2010

Most people love to go to weddings since they show love and a new life for the couple they are supporting. But as most brides and grooms preparing a wedding, they should also take the environment into consideration as they plan their big event.

It is not as difficult as it may seem. Planning an environmental wedding can be in any form. Celebrating your union in a park or at the beach will help you not to use too much of cut flowers and dried flowers as your main decoration since the outdoor setting will give you more of that natural decoration.

Even your wedding centerpiece can also have a double purpose to guests. You can consider using tall silver or gold vases for each table and fill them with a bottle of champagne. You can give the vases to guests who love to collect vases or love to plant. The champagne on the other hand can be consumed by the guests.

The Internet and My Bridesmaids Dresses

February 27th, 2010

Just a couple of years ago, when I was so busy preparing for my bridesmaids’ dresses, I was a bit overwhelmed with the selections and choices for their dresses. What I did first was to choose my wedding theme and decide on the color to use for the whole wedding, even with their bridesmaids jewelry.

After deciding on the theme, I went and search the internet like what most brides do nowadays. The internet will provide with the latest wedding trends and fashions and everything you need to know with weddings. I searched the internet for possible bridesmaids dresses and mailed most of my ideas to my maid of honor so I can get a second opinion about my decisions. After finding a couple of dresses we liked, we went our search now on some bridal salons and she did fit some of the dresses we liked.

Finding their bridesmaids dresses was fun and I totally enjoyed the bonding time I had with my best friend, my maid of honor. My last preparation for my bridesmaids was selecting their pearl bridesmaid jewelry set. I had to find a jewelry that will not just compliment their dresses, but will also compliment mine. I didn’t have a hard time finding the right pearl bridesmaid jewelry set since I found a great site to help me with.

Having Cold Feet

February 27th, 2010

Contrary to popular perception that most brides or grooms are just happy and ecstatic before the wedding, a lot of couples feel cold feet during the stages of planning that may even lead for them to feel cold feet especially during the final stages of the wedding planning.

If the bride or groom feels more than the normal panic attack, then the couple should assess their relationship and examine the reasons for those panic attacks. Keep in mind that the key to a successful relationship is to communicate. If you and your partner can talk about your feelings and issues of fear and commitment beforehand, then you can save all your worries before the wedding comes.

You can also look forward to what your marriage life will be instead of looking forward to the negative things you may feel. Think of all the good things your life will be after the wedding and the companionship you will never have with another person.

There are different stones to choose from, like precious stones, crystals, and pearls. Pendants on a satin cord are also always in fashion and will work out as bridesmaids jewelry.
